Montgomery County, MD Departments of Parks and Environmental Protection – Major rehabilitation of Pine Lake to improve dam safety, water quality, aquatic habitat, and storm water management control.

Montgomery County, MD Silver Spring Transit Center – Site work.

Government of the District of Columbia – Replacing and upgrading damaged guardrail and impact attenuators.

Maryland Aviation Administration – Baltimore/Washington International Airport Terminal curbside expansion and skywalks, pedestrian crossing signing and marking improvements.

Highway and Safety Services is recognized by its clients and peers for performing quality work:

In January 2007, Highway and Safety Services, Inc., was presented the Award of Excellence in the Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) program in the "General Environmental" category for the State Highway Administration "Wetlands Replacement at Little Seneca Creek on Old Baltimore Road" Contract. Project winners were judged on specification compliance, cooperation, contract administration, material compliance, equipment, maintenance of traffic, erosion/sediment control, adherence to schedules, contract supervision, and overall quality. In 1995, Highway and Safety Services was the first Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) to receive the Overall Excellence Award (formerly the "Maryland with Pride" Award). Highway and Safety Services also received the MdQI Award of Excellence as a sub-contractor in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005.

In June 2005, Patricia Diamondidis, Founder of Highway & Safety Services, Inc., was inducted into the Maryland Highway Contractors Association's "Hall of Leadership."

In 1995, the National Association of Women Business Owners (Capital Area Chapter), in conjunction with the Washington Business Journal, included Pat in their list of the Top 50 Women Business Owners in the Washington, DC area.
